Cloud forecast for today and while probably not ideal to go into the high mountains, we decided to give it a shot and see what the trail is like anyway. Never can trust those weathermen!! We caught the Golmerbahn (chair-lift) up to the top station and then followed the Latschatzer Hohenweg to Lindauer Hutte and then walked back to the middle station of the Golmerbahn. 15km that took us 3.5 hours and quite an easy walk with no major ups or downs.

                 At last, Lindauer Hutte situated in an impressive valley with sheer mountain walls behind.

Followed the Gauerntal (Gauer Valley) back to Latschau and the middle station of the chair-lift. Great walk!!
