Beautiful day for a bus ride to Rosenlaui and a hike to Grosse Scheidegg. Started with a visit to the Rosenlaui Gletscherschlucht. We had previously visited the Aareschlucht but this was much more impressive. Just a quick visit though as the further into the gorge we went the higher up we climbed and my fear of heights started to kick in big time.

The trail we took was called the Romantikweg. We had decided to walk up to Grosse Scheidegg instead of the usual way of walking down so the walk was fairly tough. Part way along Ray said "Why did they call it the Romantikweg as there is nothing romantic about this?" To me it was obvious. For those that walk the trail up, the tremendous views every step of the way, from start to finish.
