Today's adventure started with a chair-lift (surprise-surprise) to Planpraz @ 2000m and a relatively flat hike across the mountain-side to another chair-lift, Le Flegere. 2 hours to do the trail, the Grand Balcon Sud, and for the whole hike we had uninterrupted views across the valley of the peaks of Aiguille du Midi and Mont Blanc, as well as all the others that I can't name. Beautiful weather and fantastic scenery.

We hiked to the middle station of Le Flegere chair-lift and decided we would go up to the top station and have a quick look and come straight back down. But we were fascinated by what we saw when we got to the top and spent quite a while there, as interested spectators only. Mountain climbers on every mountain!!!

                        This is Ray having some lunch. The mountains in the back-ground may not seem at all significant but in the context of what these guys were doing on them,  they were awesome.
